How Flower Pressing Works
Thank you for considering my flower pressing services to turn your beautiful bouquet into a lasting piece of artwork. Here is a step-by-step guide on how the process works:
Bouquet Delivery: Please ensure that your bouquet arrives to me within 24 hours after your event. This is crucial to ensure the flowers are fresh and in good condition for pressing.
Pressing: Once I receive your bouquet, I will begin the pressing process. This typically takes around 8 weeks for the flowers to fully dry and flatten.
Artwork Creation: After the pressing is complete, I will carefully arrange the pressed flowers and foliage to create a unique piece of artwork. Please note that colors may change and fade during the pressing process, so the final piece may not have the exact colors of the original bouquet.
Intricate Design: I strive to press as much of the bouquet as possible in order to create a detailed and intricate artwork. This may include individual flower petals, leaves, and stems to capture the essence of your bouquet.
Sustainability: I am committed to being as sustainable as possible in my flower pressing process. Any leftover foliage is composted, and I reuse the pressing paper and card multiple times to minimize waste.
Sneak Peek and Collaboration: I will send you a sneak peek of the artwork in progress, and we can collaborate on choosing the background color together. Additionally, keep an eye on my Instagram for sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes of the creation process.
Prints for Sharing: Your piece of artwork can also be made into prints that can be framed and given to family members as a special gift. This allows you to share the beauty of your pressed bouquet with loved ones.
Please keep in mind that the full process of turning your bouquet into a piece of artwork could take up to 15 weeks. The end result will be a unique and personalized memento of your special occasion, transformed into a beautiful piece of art to cherish for years to come. Thank you for entrusting me with your precious memories.
